St. Pauls Nursery
School
est. 1958

St Paul's Nursery School was
established in 1958 by a group of interested parents who wished to
provide children with a meaningful environment related to their needs
and interests. The commitment to providing a quality pre-school
experience continues today.
Our Philosophy
St. Paul's Nursery School provides pre-school children with a meaningful environment that is equipped with carefully selected materials designed for free use and experimentation. The program, under the guidance of trained, certified teachers, is planned to help the individual child grow emotionally, physically and intellectually.
Socially: The children learn to share materials, respect one another's ideas and creations, and work together as a group.
Emotionally: The children learn to gain independence by making decisions that will foster confidence in themselves and their abilities, and to express their feelings in a way that is not harmful to others.
Physically:The children experience activities that will enable them to grow in both gross and fine motor skills.
Intellectually:The children take part in activities designed to increase their visual and auditory skills as well as their attention span. We believe in a "hands-on" approach to activities, as well as child-centered, not teacher-centered activities.
"Childhood is a journey,
not a race."
